These photos will tell you all you need to know about the new water playground at the Murray Bridge Swimming Centre.
The supa slide, which opened along with the rest of the water play area on the first day of the swimming season today, was the drawcard and proved most popular with pool-goers.
But it was the giant water bucket, which periodically and without warning dumps several bath-loads of water on the bathers beneath in a matter of seconds, which proved most entertaining to onlookers.
Young Denzel Conry won a raffle to decide who could go down the supa slide first, drawn by Mayor Brenton Lewis at 12.30pm.
The early reviews of the slide were mixed, but pool staff soon turned up the pumps to get the water – and riders – down it a bit faster.
