Both Mannum and Meningie will hold Christmas celebrations this weekend.
The Mannum pageant will progress down the main street from 6.30pm this Saturday, beginning at Horwood Bagshawe and finishing at Arnold Park.
A record number of floats is expected, including new entries from Mannum Community Club, Men's Shed, Community College, the National Karate Academy, Happy Hour and Mid Murray Family Connections.
The Klemzig Oompah Band and Red Hatters will lead the way, and the Southern Districts Pipe Band will precede Father Christmas.
Food will be available in the park afterwards, along with games, face painting, a pop-up disco, a jumping castle, Elio the Bubble Man and music from Lee Brocky and the Outback Overdrive.
Meningie's pageant in the park will be held between noon and 4pm on Sunday at Lions Jubilee Park, and will feature a children's fancy dress competition, jumping castle, face painting, games, stalls and food.
Father Christmas will visit from 1-2pm.
