Lions Jubilee Park at Meningie was filled with excited families on Sunday as dozens of people gathered for the annual pageant in the park.
The event, which took place between 12 noon and 4pm, offered jumping castle, face painting, games, stalls and food.
A children’s fancy dress competition was staged, the winners of the Meningie Garden Club’s annual garden gate competition announced, and the keys to a new State Emergency Service truck handed over.
And, of course, children were able to visit Father Christmas, sit on his lap and tell him all their hearts’ desires.
After all, December 25 is now just three weeks away.
