Nine people have been reported for drink and drug driving offences in Murray Bridge in the past week.
A 33-year-old woman allegedly tested positive to ecstasy when she was stopped on Eleanor Terrace around 5.30pm on Friday.
A 35-year-old Ettrick man allegedly tested positive to methamphetamine on Maurice Road just before 9.30 that night, as did a 45-year-old man from Oakden on Maurice Road at 9.30 the next morning and a 35-year-old Murray Bridge man on Thomas Street just over an hour after that.
Each was directed not to drive for 24 hours.
A 26-year-old Wellington man also allegedly returned a positive test on Flagstaff Road at Brinkley at 1.20pm last Thursday, but refused to provide a sample for testing and lost his license for six months on the spot.
Three Murray Bridge men were also picked up for drink driving.
A 52-year-old man was fined for exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol and driving while disqualified after being pulled over on Meyer Road just after 10pm last Wednesday; his vehicle was impounded for 28 days and he will face court.
At 1.40am on Saturday, a 28-year-old allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.096 on East Terrace; his car was impounded for 28 days and his license suspended for six months.
Just before 2am on Sunday, a 29-year-old was fined for allegedly blowing 0.064 on Hill Street.
