The annual Meningie Food, Fun and Family Fair was held at the Meningie Lions Jubilee Park on Friday night.
Families gathered at the park and were enthralled by the live entertainment and activities on offer.
Despite the perfect weather, the crowd was down a little from previous years but the event was still heralded as a success with people lining up for their favourites.
Live music by the Lee Brocky band kept the crowd moving while they sampled the various food and refreshments available.
The popular rock climbing wall was once again a hit as was the jumping castle, bucking bull and mobile play centre.
The event welcomed back Canoe the Coorong, providing kayaks for people to enjoy the pleasures of Lake Albert at sunset.
Animals Anonymous were once again popular, making their snakes and other native animal available for children and adults to experience.
At the event for the first time was the Bridge Trophy and Lolly shop which was very popular and the Tailem Bend Community Centre's Frozen Sensory stall.
The event recently won an Australia Day award, held on the Friday night of the March long weekend, and is a great opportunity for local clubs and groups to fundraise by providing food, refreshment and activities for the whole family.
