There will be an exciting new way for parents and shoppers to keep their kids entertained at Murray Bridge’s favourite shopping centre, with the opening of the new playground at the Murray Bridge Marketplace.
While the Marketplace has had a playground installed for some time, it was in need of some significant upgrades.
The new layout features some incredible equipment, which kids of all ages will be sure to love. Highlights include a two-person seesaw, workshop, small rock climbing wall with bridge and a slippery dip, all of which is designed to be safe for children under the age of 6.
The playground has also recently been upgraded and replaced the flooring, with new soft fall floor making it even safer.

Marking coordinator Tamika Parker said the Marketplace had undertaken the upgrades to offer a better experience to their customers.
“The new equipment will provide an easy, undercover, friendly environment that is also fun and new for the children of our customers,” she said.
“The playground is supplied as a convenience for our customers to have some down time whilst their children run and play.”
To celebrate the new playground, a Grand Opening Day will be held on March 27.
Local Member Adrian Pederick will officially open the playground, which will coincide with the Marketplace’s popular Easter Storytime Activities, which will also be held on the playground.
Here Mr Pederick will entertain the kids with readings of popular stories, which all are invited to attend.
Murray Bridge Marketplace is the major shopping destination of the region, and serves as a hub for the community. Stores include Big W, Woolworths Supermarket, Priceline, The Reject Shop and Best & Less as well as 40 specialty stores. There is also a food court, restaurants and cafes overlooking the Murray River plus a new public library facility.
The Marketplace has undercover parking for over 900 cars and the new indoor children’s playground is just the latest aspect of the ever-evolving and ever-improving centre, making it an attractive and convenient shopping environment.
