Mallee traffic round up

A 23 year-old Murray Bridge man was reported for drink driving on Friday at around 10pm after police stopped a car after it allegedly lost control. The driver allegedly returned a positive breath test of 0.168 and was issued a 12 month instant loss of licence. He will appear in court at a later date.

At around 11pm on Friday a 69 year-old Karoonda man was issued a notice not to drive after he was stopped on the Karoonda highway. He allegedly returned a positive drug test for THC/cannabis. The sample will be sent for further analysis. 

At around 3am on Monday police reported a 21 year-old Murray Bridge man for driving whilst disqualified when he was stopped on Long Island Road, Murray Bridge. He will face court at a later date.

A 75-year-old man has lost his licence when he was caught drink driving at about 9:30pm on Tuesday on Long Island Rd in Murray Bridge. He was breath tested and allegedly returned a positive reading of 0.181. He has been summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
