Residents of several Murraylands and Mallee towns will get some face-to-face time with Centrelink, Medicare and other government agencies this month.

The Desert Rose, a mobile service centre, will park opposite the Lameroo Hotel tomorrow between 1pm and 4pm; opposite the Karoonda Hotel between 9.30am and 4pm on Thursday; at Lions Jubilee Park, Meningie from 9.30am-2pm on Friday; and at Mannum Leisure Centre from 9am-3pm on May 31.

The service is free and no appointment is needed.

Human Services Minister Michael Keenan said the mobile service centre was part of the federal government's commitment to providing the best possible service to all Australians, regardless of where they lived.
