Close to 100 people gathered at the Murray Bridge RSL on May 16 to raise funds during an event hosted as part of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.
Sweet and savoury scones were on offer for attendees to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.
Helen Daykin from the Cancer Council talked about how the funds raised are used to care for patients and research the disease. A raffle was called and winners were invited to select from the table of prizes which included a tajine set, skincare, vouchers from local businesses and other homewares. Camilla Pescheta provided a vocal performance. Photos: Emma Zirkel.
