The idea of a regular loop bus around Murray Bridge, suggested by a resident at a council meeting last month, sounds like a popular one.

Though only 43 people responded to an online poll on the idea by The Standard, 37 said they would use such a bus service – circling the city’s residential areas and taking people into the central business district, perhaps hourly – if it existed.

Two said they would not and four did not know.

Link SA currently runs a “dial-a-ride” bus service.
