Football, netball matches played and Aboriginal art workshop run in Murray Bridge for NAIDOC Week | PHOTOS

With NAIDOC Week wrapped up, we look back on some of the events held in Murray Bridge.

Football and netball matches were played between the Points and Rovers at Le Messurier Oval on Sunday, July 8.

A free workshop was run in the Marketplace on Wednesday, July 11, where participants could try boomerang painting, weaving and making jewellery, have their face painted, and listen to the Deadly Nannas performing.

Along with these events, there was a story telling session held at the Murray Bridge Library on Tuesday, July 10.

NAIDOC Week kicked off with the annual bridge walk, from the RSL Clubrooms over the road bridge and to the council chambers.

At the council chambers, there was an awards ceremony and morning tea – check out the photos here.
