Ongoing efforts from the Rockleigh Country Fire Service Support Group have secured a community grant from the Rural City of Murray Bridge for a much needed defibrillator for the Rockleigh CFS.

The Rockleigh CFS annual general meeting on July 17 was the perfect opportunity for support group president Dee Loch to present the defibrillator to brigade Captain Don Moore, who was accompanied by Marc Truman, Lorraine Moore, members of the Rockleigh Brigade and Swanport Group Officers.

The defibrillator was a timely acquisition given that 50 per cent of call outs for the Rockleigh Brigade in the last 12 months have been motor vehicle accidents, which is where a defibrillator may be needed.
