Unity College will host its 2019 Senior School Subject and Student Pathways Expo on Wednesday, August 8.
The event is aimed at current and prospective students and families who will be studying in year 10, 11 and 12 next year, and runs from 5.30pm-8pm.

The night will outline the wide variety of subjects available at Unity College through displays and demonstrations; inform students about the tertiary and training opportunities available beyond school; and provide an opportunity for local organisations to speak about employment trends and opportunities in the Murraylands.
6pm-6.30pm – Beginning the senior school journey
This session will be presented by head of senior school Corrin Townsend and SACE coordinator Graeme Scales and aims to educate people about the SACE course and the transition from middle to senior schooling. It’s highly recommended this year’s year 9 students and their families attend.
6.30pm-6.45pm – Reasons to stay in the region
This session will be presented by TAFE SA regional manager Sarah Lance. Here, students can learn about what the Murray Bridge campus has on offer in 2019 and how certificate IV or higher courses can credit transfer into university qualifications. This is highly recommended for all students and families.
6.45pm-7pm – The Murraylands’ labour market
This session is open to the community, students and families to find out the current trends in the labour market and employment opportunities in the region. This session will be presented by Regional Development Australia.
7.15pm-7.45pm – Tips for studies and subject choices
Mrs Townsend and Mr Scales will inform current year 10 and 11 students and their families about subject choices, ATARs and VET Pathways for next year.
