A 55-year-old Murray Bridge man will face court after police allegedly located “a small amount” of dried cannabis, equipment associated with the sale of cannabis and a sling shot.
The items were uncovered when police searched a house in Murray Bridge at 6pm on Sunday.
The man was arrested and has been charged with possess cannabis for sale, unlawful possession, possession of prescription drugs and possession of a dangerous article.
He was granted police bail and will appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court at a later date.
Two drivers have lost their licence and will face court after police caught them allegedly drink driving over the weekend.
A 58-year-old Murray Bridge man allegedly recorded a blood alcohol reading of .189 and was issued a 12 month loss of licence. His vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
A 31-year-old man allegedly recorded a a blood alcohol reading of .100 at Tailem Bend.
The man subsequently lost his licence for six months.
GPS system swiped
Police are once again reminding motorists about the importance of their vehicle security after a GPS navigation system was allegedly stolen in Murray Bridge.
Police have alleged that the Motorola VMS bluetooth speaker and navigation system were stolen, from a car parked in a driveway of Waratah Avenue, sometime between 2.45am and 4am last Friday.
