Rockleigh neighbours muster together

They all came to join in!

Rural City of Murray Bridge Mayor Brenton Lewis and his wife Kath, along with Country Fire Service Region 3 Commander Ray Jackson and SA Police Murraylands Superintendent  James Blandford, Rockleigh CFS Brigade members, neighbours and friends.

There were no speeches, no formalities, just roaring fires, sizzling sausages, sumptuous country desserts and great conversations which marked the third year of the Rockleigh Neighbour Muster held at the renovated Rockleigh School House.

An initiative of the Rockleigh CFS Support Group, the event raises awareness of fire and safety in the small rural community, one that is big on community values and thrives on the principle that has been adopted by the local CFS “Neighbours helping Neighbours”.

It was a fun afternoon nattering with neighbours, this year partnering with the Rural City of Murray Bridge “Good Neighbour Program” in support of Connected Communities.
