Ride Against Suicide 2018: motorcyclists will travel from Mannum to Royal Adelaide Show for Silent Ripples | VIDEO

Dozens of motorcyclists will once again convoy from Mannum to the Wayville Showground this Sunday for the third annual Ride Against Suicide.

The event is a fundraiser for Silent Ripples, a Murraylands-based non-profit organisation which supports people bereaved by suicide and helps build resilience in local communities.

A particular focus this year will be the prevention of deaths by suicide among defence force and emergency services personnel.

Riders will meet at Mary Ann Reserve, Mannum at 8.30am for a 9am departure, and more will join the ride at Nuriootpa and Two Wells before proceeding south for a parade of the main arena at the Royal Adelaide Show at 3pm.

Breakfast, morning tea and lunch will be provided by RSL clubs along the way.

More than $1000 has already been raised this year.

The top fundraiser will receive a voucher for the Windy Point Restaurant and Cafe.
