The CLA Foundation is hosting its annual charity golf day on Friday 26 October in what will likely be another great day for local businesses and community members participating in the event.
CLA Foundation chariperson Des Warner, along with the foundations’ board, is overseeing the eighth such event held at the Murray Bridge Golf Course.
“The event raises money for Community Living Australia, a local not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting over 500 people with disability by providing a range of quality services that support them to live a rewarding and fulfilling life,” he said.
“While supporting people with their day-to-day needs, Community Living Australia also runs projects and programs that provide opportunities for people with disability to become more independent and engage with their community.
“Each year, the golf day draws a lot of interest from golfers of all skill levels ... we think it’s definitely a great day to get involved in.”
It is a 4-person team Ambrose style event that tee’s off at 9:00am — a free lunch is provided afterwards with great prizes on offer and drinks available out on the course.
All proceeds from the golf day will go towards projects that support people with disability in the Murraylands community.
