The usually quiet and quaint town of Callington will come alive with crowds of people on Sunday, October 28 as it hosts the town’s annual show.
With a unique combination of a festival-like atmosphere, active entertainment and traditional events and exhibitions, the 2018 show is set to attract hundreds of people.
This year’s highlights include the action-packed Extreme Trials Show, Rev It Up car racing simulator and the SA Police Dixieland Band, as well as the regular side shows, hobby expo and blacksmith’s shop.

The show, now in it’s seventeenth year, is well known for its family friendly activities, of which many are free, and is so well received by the community that it was awarded the 2017 Event of the Year at the Rural City of Murray Bridge Australia Day awards.
The 2018 show will be held at the Callington Recreation Park again, with gates opening to the public at 10am. The show will wrap up at 4pm.
Entry fees are $8 for adults; $5 for pensioners and students; $2 for children aged between five and 12 years old; and free for kids under five.
