Murray Towns cricket, October 27, 2018: Gilmour scores a century | RESULTS, PHOTOS

In Murray Towns cricket this week, Imperials made it to 6/223 after Daniel Gilmour put on 110 at the top of the order.

Lachlan Zrim (4/39) was the bowler who finally had him caught by Brady Wrigley.

However, in reply, Mypolonga achieved their target with six wickets down and 14 balls to spare.

Aaron Zrim had 92 before being caught by the Fidge combination, Andrew the fielder and Craig the bowler; Craig had figures of 2/31.

Meningie defeated Wanderers after scoring 3/257 in their 50 overs, with Brad Biddle stranded on 97 not out.

Three bowlers took a wicket each for the Woo Hoos.

In reply, the visiting team was dismissed for 164.

Sam Robinson top-scored with 41 before being caught LBW by John Zadow, who also claimed three other victims for 29 runs.

Saturday’s other match featured a less competitive total of 9/128 posted by Tailem Bend at Mannum.

Jake Prosser top-scored with 24, while three bowlers took two wickets each.

It took Mannum just 15.3 overs to complete their chase, though they lost two wickets to different bowlers, including Joshua Boylan on 48.
