Murray Bridge's most colourful and creative event will return this Saturday.

For six years now, the annual Sixth Street Handmade artists' market has brought makers of jewellery, glass, textiles, paintings, ceramics, skincare products, homewares and baskets together outside Murray Bridge Regional Gallery.

This year there will be more than 50 stalls stretching from the Marketplace to the Park Lane Hotel, plus free face painting and balloon bending, Don and Brenda's kids land, Old MacDonald's travelling farm and a Christmas-themed craft workshop with Stonemill Studio's Gaynor Hartvigsen.

Aaron Thomas, Barney Rebel, Luke Swinburne and the U3A Bridge Strummers will provide a live soundtrack to the event.

Spanish, Greek, German, vegan and vegetarian food will be available alongside the usual range of quirky barbecues and brews, coffee, artisan ice cream and sorbet.

The market will open at 9.30am and close at 3.30pm.
