Funding available to community groups in drought-affected districts will be the topic of an information session in Karoonda on Monday.
Tackling Tough Times Together, an initiative of the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, is offering grants of up to $150,000 to groups suffering from volunteer burn-out, ageing resources and limited knowledge or skills.
Projects which reduce isolation, offer training, address disadvantage, build capacity or support economic activities may be considered.
Previous recipients have included events which brought people together, such as a music festival in Wallangra, New South Wales; a ladies' day in Red Ridge, Queensland; and a camp for Aboriginal children from Brewarrina, New South Wales.
The information session will be held at Karoonda's council office at 10.30am on Monday.
