Christmas carols will ring out across the Murraylands this weekend as four towns hold seasonal celebrations.
The festive fun will begin at 4.30pm on Saturday at Mary Ann Reserve, Mannum, with a sausage sizzle, bouncy castle, petting zoo and costume prizes before the carolling starts at 6.
On the wharf at Murray Bridge, food stalls will be serving from 5pm on Sunday ahead of the city’s carols, featuring local performers, from 6.45pm.
On the Railway Terrace lawns at Karoonda there will be a sausage sizzle and messy craft activities from 6pm on Sunday, with a service to follow from 7-8pm.
Each event will be presented by a local inter-church or ecumenical council.
Meningie Progress Association will revive a pageant will progress along West Terrace to the town's oval from 4pm on Sunday, with a picnic tea to follow from 5pm, carols from 6.45 and fireworks at 8.45.
