Murray Bridge Library will continue to host free movie screenings on Thursday nights in 2019.
On Thursday, January 10 the feature will be Adrift, the story of a couple's chance meeting and struggle for survival in the face of a devastating hurricane.
The Bookshop, starring Emily Mortimer and Bill Nighy in the tale of a woman who opens a bookshop in an English village in 1959 against the locals' wishes, will follow on January 24.
On February 7 it will be Working Class Boy, the Jimmy Barnes documentary.
Each film was based on a book: Tami Oldham Ashcraft’s Red Sky in Mourning, Penelope Fitzgerald’s award-winning novel and Mr Barnes’ memoir, respectively.
Book Club, a comedy about a group of women who read 50 Shades of Gray with Diane Keaton and Jane Fonda, will screen on February 21.
Each screening will begin at 5.30pm at the library beneath Murrray Bridge Marketplace.
