He is as also fluent in speaking Korean and Japanese.

“After a difficult time last year with the tragic loss of chiropractor Victor Joppich, we are looking forward to the New Year with what the freshness a new person and skills can bring to the team of chiropractors, massage therapists, physiotherapist and naturopath at this centre,” Brenton said.

“Andy’s background in soft tissue therapies, namely myotherapy, dry needling and remedial massage, puts him in a good position to direct you to the most appropriate treatment for your condition.”

Myotherapy is a form of physical therapy with the use of the hands, used to treat or prevent muscle pain and restricted joint movement founded on anatomy, physiology and biomechanics.

Dry needling is the use of fine acupuncture-type needles inserted into tight muscles or trigger points seeking to relieve muscle pain. Sought after by athletes, dry needling can be effective in difficult to treat areas.
