Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) and Country Fire Service (CFS) crews tackled a blaze, allegedly started under suspicious circumstances, near Rachel Street earlier today.
At around 11.30am MFS and CFS crews were called to attend the scene.
A spokesperson from the MFS said the fire had allegedly started in a homemade cubby house in a tree area near the cricket oval on Rachel Street.
The size of the fire was estimated to be around five metres by five metres in size and was reportedly extinguished quickly by crews.
SAPOL will look into the cause of the fire.
