This usually includes plenty of barbecues with friends and rellies often resulting in over-eating and over-indulging.
Be inspired by this glorious sunny weather and motivate the family to go for an evening stroll after dinner or a morning run, watching the sun come up is a great heart starter.
Why not take a dip in one of the local pools.
Mannum and Cambrai are open to the public seven days a week, from 3.30pm to 7.30pm when 25 degrees and above.
Cambrai is the perfect location on a Friday evening, with community members stoking up a mean barbecue, so grab the family and go down for a fun evening.
Use the New Year as inspiration to look after yourself and your health, make your goals achievable and focus on lifestyle changes rather than a resolution you may not stick to.
