Everyone is invited to help Murray Bridge's Maori community celebrate Waitangi Day at Sturt Reserve this Saturday.
Between 10am and 2pm there will be food – including a hangi, popcorn and fairy floss – plus arts and crafts, face painting, a jumping castle, mini golf and Farmer Darcy's Travelling Farm.
The alcohol- and drug-free event is being organised by the Maori Evangelical Church of South Australia.
The national day of New Zealand commemorates the signing of a treaty between the Maori and British settlers in 1840.
