Sellicks Beach motorcycle races 2019: Murraylands riders enter on Norton, Matchless bikes | VIDEO

Since 1922, the Levis Motorcycle Club has organised races on the sand at Sellicks Beach, south of Adelaide.

This year 120 bikes and a dozen sidecars, all built before 1963, took part in two days of racing on February 16 and 17.

Among the competitors were a few from the Murraylands.

Murray Bridge's Bruce Davis and Mathew Hundertmark finished second in the 500cc sidecar category in their Matchless.

Davis also raced solo, as did Tailem Bend Auto Club member Bruce Nankivell, of Meningie, on his 1959 Norton.
