Station wagon driver arrested over burnouts on Mannum Road, Murray Bridge

The driver of a red Ford station wagon allegedly seen doing burnouts on Mannum Road, Murray Bridge has been detained by police.

Police caught up with the man around 3pm on Friday when they allegedly detected his car travelling at 109 kilometres per hour in the 80 zone.

Officers will also allege he returned a blood alcohol reading of .189, almost four times the legal limit; and that he was disqualified from driving.

The 46-year-old of no fixed address was arrested, denied bail and was expected to face court on Monday.
