On Friday, the school's colourful gala day attracted hundreds more visitors, including old scholars and teachers from decades gone by.
The former Murray Bridge Primary School and Murray Bridge Junior Primary School combined as part of the celebrations and are now officially operating under the "North School" name.
Although Murray Bridge's first public school opened on the site of the old post office in 1902, it was not until 1912 that the stone building on Mannum Road, which is still in use today, was completed.
