The Greens' vision for Barker involves evidence-driven solutions to the major problems we're facing now: economic inequality, increasing cost of living, environmental destruction and climate change.

We want a Royal Commission into the management of the Murray-Darling Basin, and to return more water to the river before it is too late.

We will work to ensure the health of the river is prioritised fairly and transparently, and ensure future sustainability for the environment and all those who depend on it.

There is no escaping the science: climate change will have a big impact with a rise of 2.6 degrees in Barker if we don't take action.

Unlike the major parties, we have a strong plan to take action.

We will phase out fossil fuels in favour of clean technology, creating more than 180,000 jobs, with 6500 of these being in South Australia.

We can help ease housing pressures by building 2950 affordable homes in Barker over the next 15 years, creating thousands more jobs and helping to accommodate roughly 610 homeless people in Barker.

By voting 1 Greens in the Senate and the House of Representatives, you will have a strong voice standing against vested interests with integrity and honesty for Barker and the state.
