Power tools are in high demand among thieves, according to police, who are investigating three thefts in the Murray Bridge district over the past week.
A house on Amanda Street was broken into between 1am and 5am on Friday and items including a drum kit, a stereo and power tools stolen.
Thieves took Makita and DeWalt drills, battery chargers and door handles from a construction site on Warner Road sometime between 5pm on Saturday and 6am on Monday.
Finally, a 20-tonne log splitter was taken from a shed on Black Heath Road, Rockleigh sometime between midday on Sunday and 10am on Tuesday.
