Murray Bridge's next business breakfast will be held at its newest venue: the function centre at the Gifford Hill racecourse.
The keynote speaker at the event, to be held at 7am on Wednesday, will be Drakes Supermarkets assistant general manager John-Paul Drake.
Mr Drake will speak about his vision for the city's newest supermarket, why his company chose to invest in the Murraylands, how he manages his team and the latest trends in retail.
Murray Bridge Racing Club functions coordinator Rebecca Hewings will introduce herself and the venue, the largest function centre in regional South Australia.
Murray Mallee Aged Care chief executive officer Anna Howard will speak about the new retirement village her organisation is building in Murray Bridge, due for completion in November; and Murray Computers owner Matt Gravestocks will give his usual tech talk, this time on videoconferencing.
The cost of admission includes a cooked breakfast, tea and coffee, and the opportunity to network with other business owners, managers and staff.
The racecourse is located two kilometres south of the freeway on Brinkley Road.
- Tickets: $25 for Murray Bridge Business Alliance members, $30 non-members at www.eventbrite.com.au. Tickets will not be available on the door.
