Strathalbyn man penalised during Mount Barker house search

A Strathalbyn man was penalised following a house search undertaken on Tuesday, August 6.

When police searched the Mount Barker house, they located and seized more than 19 ounces of cannabis, ketamine, LSA, a torch taser, and extendable baton, and a bayonet.

A 28-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman from Mount Barker were reported for possessing cannabis.

The man was also given a drug diversion notice for possessing LSA and ketamine, while the woman was reported for possessing a prohibited weapon.

Both will face Mount Barker Magistrates Court at a later date.

The Strathalbyn man, a 28-year-old, was issued a cannabis expiation notice, as was a 22-year-old Mount Barker man.
