Two local teams have finished inside the top 20 overall at the 2019 Australian International Pedal Prix at Murray Bridge.

Murray Bridge High School team Nemesis completed the second-most laps of the Sturt Reserve course over the 24-hour event - 520 - for any team of students and community members under the age of 20.

Not far behind was the top local school team, Unity College's Bunyip, whose year 10 and under riders completed 508 laps, good enough for second in their category.

The overall event winners were Victorian team Wattle Racing, whose vehicle Ironbark completed 630 laps of the track.

The annual event, which completes the six-race HPV Super Series, brings thousands of competitors and spectators to Murray Bridge each year.
