Hill's Heroes fight depression one day - and kilometre - at a time

Ten cyclists hope for a heroes' welcome when they return to Murray Bridge on Friday, having ridden more than 700 kilometres and raised more than $12,000 for the fight against depression.

It is the third time Hill's Heroes, led by Murray Bridge ex-pat Tyron Hill and Olympic medallist Jo Hill, have hit the road to raise awareness and funds for non-profit organisation Beyond Blue.

In each town along their route they have held gatherings in sporting clubrooms where they have talked about their personal mental health experiences.
