Australian actress and author Judy Nunn OAM will visit Murray Bridge as part of the launch for her new book Khaki Town.

Starting at 12pm on Tuesday, October 29 at the Murray Bridge Library, Judy will host a free Author Talk, giving people the opportunity to learn about her and her books. In 2015 she was made a Member of the Order of Australia for her "significant service to the performing arts as a scriptwriter and actor of stage and screen, and to literature as an author".

Murray Bridge Library Team Leader Tim Law said an author who grew up swimming and boating by the Swan River in Western Australia would be relatable for a Murraylands audience.

"Judy's stories capture the hardships and triumphs of rural life," he said.
