Dance workshops for Ngarrindjeri youth and the formation of a writer's group are two art projects which have received funding from the Federal Government.
The Raukkan Community Council has been given more than $7300 to deliver contemporary dance workshops, hosted by Bangarra dancer Kaine Sultan-Babij, to young people from around the region.
It will allow the youth to develop skills which they can use to take part in Bangarra's Redkindling Program next year.
Funding has also been awarded to the Sedan Writers Group to allow writer and poet Caroline Reid to mentor the group as it develops.
More than $3800 has been allocated for the development of a self-sustaining writers' group.
Country Arts SA chief executive Steve Saffell said the funding would help young artists to thrive.
The Government's Regional Arts Fund provides assistance for artistic professional development of communities and individuals.
The next round of funding applications close on March 15, 2020. For more information or to apply visit https://www.countryarts.org.au/
