Hornet aircraft to buzz Mannum, Murray Bridge

Up to three F/A-18A/B Hornets will be flying over parts of South Australia today as part of a formation flight before the Edinburgh Air Show on Saturday and Sunday, November 9 and 10.

The aircraft will start their journey from Port Pirie and fly over the Yorke Peninsula, Murraylands and the Fleurieu Peninsula and will be flying at 300 feet over water, and 500 feet over built up areas and going into the Adelaide CBD from the north.

The pilots are originally from Port Pirie, Adelaide and the Fleurieu Peninsula.
