Booleroo Centre is looking to increase its population and it has started the search with a unique idea. Combining with the local council and a landholder, the town is offering a rent-free business site to a family which would like to make a life-changing decision.

Workshop 26 is the result of some hard work by four couples from Kimba, and its set to boost the town's tourism potential. The microbusiness hub will have spaces to rent for artists and businesses which can set up at the one address instead of using homes as a base.

Breaking new ground

The Victor Harbor Times - Jack Manning

A new multi-million dollar commercial fishing venture has been launched at Goolwa, which will create over 30 jobs for local Indigenous people. The Ngarrindjeri owned company will be harvesting pipis in the Lakes and Coorong to supply the country's largest pipi processing and marketing company.
