Police hunt sex attacker in Murray Bridge

A Murray Bridge woman has been sexually assaulted while taking some rubbish out to a bin in her driveway overnight.

Police are searching for a man who allegedly attacked the woman from behind when she stepped outside her home on Joyce Street around 12.30am on Tuesday.

When another man in the vicinity called out, the attacker walked off in a northerly direction.

SA Police described the suspect as Caucasian, of average height and build.

He was wearing a white hooded jumper with the hood up, possible a peaked cap, and dark-coloured but shiny parachute or nylon pants at the time of the assault.

Detectives have been seeking witnesses in the area today.
