The University of the Third Age Murraylands is very much on trend with its musical offerings for 2020.

For those over 50-years-old, there is a unique opportunity to come and try ukulele.

The revival of this popular and easy to learn instrument is currently at its peak, as demonstrated at Ukelaide, the sixth Adelaide ukulele picnic, where 23 groups and around 300 players from around South Australia strutted their stuff early in December.

A come and try ukulele workshop will be held at White Park, Murray Bridge at 1pm on February 3.

Attendees can borrow a ukulele on the day.

The complete U3A Murraylands program of activities is on its website and Facebook, or at the Murray Bridge Library foyer on Thursdays between 11-1.
