Three new exhibitions at the Murray Bridge Gallery

To celebrate the 2020 Tour Down Under three exciting new exhibitions join the Murray Bridge Gallery, including a collaboration by two local art groups who share a studio space and a passion for creativity.

'Drawn Together' is a collaboration between Bridge Arts and members supported by Neami National SA community mental health service. Artists followed a cycling theme; presenting a vibrant, free-ranging and eclectic exhibition.

Stephen Oatway's exhibition of inventive and whimsical 'Junk Art' birds is made from recycled found objects - each starting with a car jack and push bike parts.

"I have been creating junk art sculptures now for many many years. So, these days I just allow the junk to speak to me and tell me what it wants to become and I trust in this process," artist Stephen Oatway explained.

The 'Urban cycles' exhibit explores the interface between subversive urban street art culture and the often strange contemporary art universe. Exhibitions will run from Jan 17 - Feb 23.
