Murray Bridge residents might have noticed a familiar face on the latest season of Survivor, which returned to Network 10 on Monday night.
Former local Locky Gilbert - now an adventure tour guide who has split his time between Perth and Bali in recent years - will have his second shot at becoming the sole survivor in this all-stars series, having finished fifth in season two in 2017.
Ten billed him as a "challenge beast" in the lead-up to the premiere episode, given his successes over 49 days in Samoa during his last appearance on the show.
"Going into All Stars, I've got a massive target on my back," he told 10 Daily.
"I'm here to prove that a challenge beast can take the title of sole survivor.
"I want to prove that I am the top dog."
The current season was filmed in Fiji and is being screened at 7.30pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights on 10, as well as on streaming service 10 Play.
