TO YOU: Farm Fresh Market, like many other local businesses, is evolving to continue operating during the COVID-19 pandemic in ways such as extending home delivery.

With restrictions being put on many local businesses throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, The Murray Valley Standard wants to support those who are fighting to keep the wheels turning in a time of confusion and anxiety.

The restrictions on how these businesses can trade come as a blow for the local economy.

Some are more affected than others, but it is clear that all are trying to make things work, for the sake of their community, employees, and themselves.

Farm Fresh Market in Murray Bridge is evolving; it has increased online ordering, extended the distance it will deliver to; putting on extra staff to cope with demand; and implementing social distancing measures and extra sanitising to protect its staff and customers.

"The retail workers are the ones on the front line," Farm Fresh Market owner Tracey De Michele said.

At The Standard, we want to help support our local community by spreading the word about how customers can continue to connect with local businesses. We are creating an online directory with details about which businesses are still operating and in what capacity.

Anyone who runs a local business can fill out their details at www.murrayvalleystandard.com.au/story/6694325/let-us-know-youre-open-for-business/

We will update and promote this directory on our websites regularly. Find it at www.murrayvalleystandard.com.au/story/6696949/find-out-who-is-still-open-for-business/
