After a number of break-ins across the Murraylands, local police are asking residents and business owners to be more vigilant in their safety practices.
Several businesses in towns such as Karoonda, Tintinara and Lameroo have been targeted over the past week.
Police suggest owners and managers should lock cash registers and staff rooms and any non-public areas to avoid people taking any advantage to steal from them.
Installing CCTV or checking on current cameras and other safety measures should help to assist in either preventing crime or apprehending thieves.
