Women from across the Murraylands have until Thursday, July 23, to attend a breast screen session at the SA Health mobile unit located in Murray Bridge.
The service was halted from March 30 to mid May due to pandemic restrictions, but now local women aged over 50 still have time make an appointment before the mobile screening unit leaves the area.
BreastScreen SA spent the down time upgrading the mobile units and have implemented social distancing and hygiene practices to make the appointment as safe as possible.
Women aged 40 to 49 and over 75 years can have a free breast screen, but should speak with their doctor before making an appointment.
To make an appointment or for more information call BreastScreen SA on 132 050 or email BSSAEnquiries@health.sa.gov.au.
