A 41-year-old Murray Bridge man has lost his licence after he was caught by police with an alleged blood alcohol level more than four times over the legal limit.
SA Police patrol noticed a vehicle being driven without lights at about 2am, on Wednesday, August 12, on Swanport Road, Murray Bridge.
The driver was stopped and given a breath test which allegedly resulted in a reading of 0.218.
The man, who was reported for driving under the influence of alcohol and drink driving and driving without lights, had his licence disqualified for 12 months and his car impounded for 28 days.
He is expected to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court at a later date.
