THE 2020 Murray Bridge Riverfront Christmas Festival and pageant is fast approaching as the excitement builds in the lead up to the festive season.
The festival will kick off at 10am, Saturday, November 21, at Sturt Reserve, with market stalls, food trucks and local entertainment.
Careful planning and additional measures in place to ensure crowd safety have allowed the show to go ahead amid the COVID-19 regulations still in place.
The new pageant route will circle Sturt Reserve while pre-registration and free ticketed entry is a requirement to enable contact tracing.
Festival organisers have advised that ticketing details would be available this week.

The Christmas spirit will be alive and well in Tailem Bend despite COVID-19 restrictions derailing the town's traditional parade for 2020.
A modified parade will see the action come to locals at home with a touring pageant cruising the streets of Tailem Bend on December 12 from 6pm.
Oragnisers are encouraging Tailem Bend residents to get their Christmas costumes out and join in the fun from front yards and local parks.
Mannum will celebrate Christmas differently this year too, with the annual pageant cancelled but an exciting family event to be held in its place.
The Mannum Community Christmas Party and Market will have a range of market and food stalls, a choir and a visit from Santa at the Mannum Showgrounds from 5pm on December 5.
There will also be a fireworks display on the riverfront at 9.30pm for everyone to enjoy.
