A fourth man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Murray Bridge man Oliver Todd in 2019.
Mr Todd, aged 47, was reported missing from his home on Wednesday morning, December 11, 2019.
Police found signs of a physical struggle at his home, and at Jervois at 4.30pm that day, police located a body which was later identified as Mr Todd.
It is believed Mr Todd had been attacked at home, and his body was wrapped in a wool bale bag and taken to the Jervois site adjacent the River Murray in a Nissan Navara ute.
The Major Crime Investigation branch declared his death a murder, and on Thursday, December 12, 2019. Two Murray Bridge men aged 30 and 49 were arrested and charged with murder.
Then on Thursday, March 26, 2020, SA Police Major Crime Investigation detectives arrested a 41-year-old Murray Bridge man and charged him with impeding an investigation and two counts of providing a false statement to police.
On Wednesday, January 13, 2021, Major Crime Detectives arrested a 33-year-old man who is an inmate of Mount Gambier Prison and charged him with murder.
He appeared in Mount Gambier Magistrates Court that afternoon.
He will jointly face the murder charge with the two other men charged in 2019.
